NatureMed supervisors facilitate a cooperative work environment and coach team members on a daily basis. .

Supervisors remain up to date on the latest product knowledge and compliance information, and freely share that information with their team members.

Position Summary

The Patient Service Representative Supervisor (Supervisor) helps create a warm and welcoming environment for each patient and patron who visits the dispensary. Supervisors are instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the store and are able to perform all functions including intake, budtending, online order fulfillment, and inventory. Supervisors are reliable, responsible key holders, who typically open or close the store. Supervisors act as a resource, coach, and mentor to team members and lead by example while modeling the NatureMed standard.

The Supervisor listens carefully to the needs of each person, and respectfully shares cannabis product knowledge. NatureMed’s Supervisors exhibit a high level of professionalism, and complete each customer transaction accurately, and in compliance with state laws.

Supervisors work with their team to create an environment that is welcoming, professional, and organized. As a Supervisor, you report to the Store Manager, collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager and other Supervisors, to support the team.

Supervisors earn $17.50 to $18.50 per hour to start, plus tip share.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

A Supervisor’s key responsibilities are to:

  • Open and close the store, as a key holder.
  • Arrive on time, with a great attitude, ready to assist the team, patients, and patrons every day.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Complete, delegate and monitor daily cleaning tasks to ensure they are complete to expectation and standard.
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing information and product displays.
  • Supervise team members, coach, motivate and mentor the team and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Positively influence the team, clearly communicate objectives, and foster teamwork.
  • Assist with managing breaks and rotations.
  • Manage cash throughout the shift, including counting drawers, making change, and completing cash drops.
  • Complete refunds and exchanges.
  • Follow and enforce compliance standards.
  • Resolve customer concerns/complaints or escalate and communicate the concern to store managers.
  • Participate in and contribute to all supervisor and team meetings.
  • Continue your education with ongoing training.

Assist with intake, budtending, online order fulfillment, and Inventory tasks, as needed to facilitate customer service and expedite flow, including:

  • Validate patient info and allotment for purchase with ID scanners and Dutchie POS.
  • Prepare online orders for pick-up.
  • Provide excellent customer service, escort customers from the waiting room and around the dispensary throughout their entire transaction.
  • Complete each sales transaction accurately and efficiently.
  • Consistently use cash handling and debit transaction procedures.
  • Consistently follow product handling procedures to ensure orders are filled accurately and inventory is maintained.
  • Help customers at an efficient pace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • Reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of customer service and/or retail experience.
  • One (1) year of intake, budtending, inventory, or supervisory experience.
  • Highly accurate cash counting and product handling skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
  • Detail-oriented and systematic.

Preferred:

  • Experience with NatureMed’s systems and processes.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about learning everything about cannabis products and consumption methods.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry and state regulation.

Physical Requirements:

The Supervisor is required to stand for long periods of time, moving about frequently in confined space. This position also requires bending, stooping, climbing, and kneeling, as needed, to merchandise and maintain the cleanliness of the store. The Supervisor must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 pounds multiple times per day; and may be required to occasionally safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.

All NatureMed team members are required to obtain and retain a Facility Agent license through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MDHSS), as a condition of their employment.
