Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This full-time, in-house position is ideal for a skilled professional who is comfortable handling a range of accounting responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Process and track weekly invoices.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payroll for all employees.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and track all incoming and outgoing payments.
- Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management
- Tax Management: Assist in preparing and filing taxes.
- Client & Employee Support: Address any accounting-related inquiries from both clients and staff.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and tax preparation.
- Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders.
