What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer position at Natures Image Landscape Contractors?
Natures Image is a Design Build Landscape Company providing full outdoor service including all facets of softscape, hardscape, irrigation, landscape, lighting and more. We are in search of a Landscape Designer/Architect with a strong background in design/sales, horticulture and computer design experience.
Typical Projects Include:
*Small Developments
*Commercial Projects
*High End Residential Projects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Meet with clients and perform complete site analysis.
*Create Detailed Landscape Designs 2D & 3D
*Prepare presentation, project estimates and sales packages
*Communicate with clients and other professionals pertaining to project.
*Assist Construction Manager with subcontractors, material orders, project oversite during installation and job close out inspections.
*Track budgeted project materials, labor hours, subcontracts and change orders
*Must be able to work with a TEAM, have good communication skills and have a outgoing personality
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
*2 year Associate Degree min./4 year BS Degree preferred, both in Landscape Architecture with strong Horticulture background
*Minimum 3 years of Landscape Design Sales experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Proficient in Dynascape, Auto CAD & Rivet, Vectorworks preferred (other design programs may be considered.
*Proficient in MS Word & Excel
*Knowledge of plant requirements & care, hardscape construction, landscape lighting and irrigation.
*Ability to do detailed take off's and estimating,
*Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to manage work flow.
