Nature’s Way Farms is one of the largest tropical landscape shrubs and ornamental farms in South Florida. We have over 40 years of experience growing plants on hundreds of acres, servicing Garden Centers in large mass-market retailers across the country. Nature’s Way is always looking for talented individuals to join our multicultural team. Our Production department is currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Outside Supervisor who is ready to lead, motivate, and build strong, high-performing teams.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead, train and be an integral part of our outdoor production team and has experience managing field crews in industries such as agriculture, construction, or similar labor-intensive fields. In this role, you’ll be directly responsible for overseeing and motivating a diverse crew of workers to ensure that production targets, safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise our outside daily production teams, focusing on quality and operational standards.
- Monitor employee performance and provide hands on guidance to optimize productivity.
- Make real-time adjustments to roles and tasks to meet quality and efficiency benchmarks.
- Collaborate with management to implement best practices and improve operational processes.
- Train and mentor staff on production techniques, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
- Analyze production data and report on progress toward goals.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- A solid understanding of production processes gained through work experience or education.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills to evaluate performance data and make informed decisions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure quality standards are met.
- Valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required for insurance purposes.
- Bilingual preferred (spanish and/or Creole)
