Description
This position will support the Product Management team on daily execution for east coast blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The sales and operations planning will require working closely with cross-functional groups across the company and grower/owner staff to ensure successful short-range planning and execution of our sales plan, all to optimize fruit value and deliver on Naturipe Farms Customer Service goals.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Focus on the Day-to-Day Short-Term Sales and Operations Planning for all east coast products, which include conventional and organic blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
• Execute operational functions, which will include reviewing inventories, product rotation, orders not loaded, aged inventory, and projected supply.
• Oversees that assigned daily projections are entered correctly in the system, which can include reviewing details of what others entered and/or directly entering projections.
• Work closely with the Transportation team to maximize freight efficiencies and ensure that on time delivery will occur with our customers.
• Act as the first point of contact in dealing with and handling product claims with the Sales team and Partner operations staff.
• Analyze aged inventory in detail via our data analytics tools.
• Analyze “On Time In Full” (customer service) with our strategic customers on a weekly basis.
• Update and distribute a weekly PowerPoint on our Naturipe Farms’ retail store checks.
• Support the other Assistant Product Managers on tasks as needed, which will include understanding their roles and where potential added responsibilities can occur.
Quantitative Data
• Daily execution on up to 6 domestic and 2 import production regions.
• Ensure proper inventory details and order execution for over 100m lbs. of fresh berries.
• Support up to four weekly reports.
Requirements
• Individual working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of agriculture business, produce sales, order fulfillment, and/or production management preferred.
• Previous experience in office or produce environment a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.
• Intermediate or greater skills with Windows, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word required. Previous experience with SAP a plus.
• Ability to build creative solutions for analyzing production planning and grower returns via Excel or any other tool strongly encouraged
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Aptitude to lead conference calls from time to time which includes professional phone etiquette.
• High energy level with strong inter-personal skills.
• Self-starter, multi-task oriented, works well independently and acts on own initiative.
• Ability to accept responsibility and thrive in a cooperative team environment.
• While staff is out of the office, confidence to take on additional roles and responsibilities.
• Effective time management skills are necessary to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior produce business and/or berry category experience and basic knowledge of production cycles and growing areas a plus.
