Job Overview:
The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to the Quality Management system and GMP through inspections. You can expect to support our Gort facility and other Natus sites aboard a global team.

Our Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday - 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday - 7:00am - 12:00 pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and or testing, where required on Incoming raw material and components
- Carry out in-process and final inspections / DHR close out and product release
- Training of operators on general inspection criteria, establishing training samples, creating standards for inspection
- Provide quality support to the team on product, processes and systems
- Implement the quality system to the highest standards
- Promote Good Manufacturing practices and ensure others adhere to the quality system requirements
- Support the Customer Complaints/CAPA/Non-conforming product/process
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and practices
- Participate in process development and transfer projects
- Support weekly and monthly quality meetings
- Support inspection system including revision of controlled inspection sheets, programs, gauges, fixturing with emphasis on quality assurance and lean manufacturing
Education and/or Experience:
- Two years’ related quality technician work experience in a heavily regulated industry, or combination of education and experience can be considered
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and ability to take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
- Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Physical Requirements: The employee must occasionally must lift and/or move up to 4.5 kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 11 kg, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 23 kg
- Experience in applying product inspection techniques and knowledge of root cause analytical and problem-solving skills is an advantage
- An understanding of the medical device industry and the importance of regulatory compliance or expectations (FDA 21CFR820 and ISO13485) is desirable
