Azure DevOps/Linux IoT Engineer
Location: remote in China
As a TEAMMATE:
We are looking for a talented Azure DevOps Engineer with Linux IoT experience in China. In this position, you will design, build and maintain Azure cloud environments as well as handle configuring Linux IoT devices.
What you’ll get to do in this role:
- Develop and maintain Azure cloud environment in China
- Help maintain internal Azure VMs and build environments
- Support software development teams with CI/CD build pipelines
- Develop, maintain and administer a Raspberry Pi image for booting an IoT device
- Secure, monitor, support the entire IoT infrastructure from cloud to device
- Administer customer and user access to devices and sites
- Provide backup support and troubleshooting for customer installations and maintenance
What we are looking for:
· Bachelor of Computer Science degree or similar
· 2-4 years of relevant experience in DevOps
· 2-4 years of experience in Linux administration
· High proficiency in English
· Strong communication skills
· Good knowledge of Azure PaaS and how to leverage them for cloud solutions
· Knowledge of working with Infrastructure as Code to spin up new virtual machines into Azure
· Strong skills in Azure networking, such as configuring virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
· Monitoring Infrastructure with Azure Monitoring and Azure Alerts
· Forecast Azure Spending of resources
· Understanding of Virtual Machine Hardening and Linux OS Hardening
· Proficiency in GitHub and how to use it to create and maintain it for continuous integration/continuous delivery, pipelines, and version control
· Automation scripting skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI and/or Python
· Problem-solving and analysticals skills to handle complex challenges and issues
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet target deadlines in a fast-paced environment
