Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, Inc. sells, rents, services, and supplies parts on an extensive line of material handling products. We are a staple in the Valley with almost 70 years of business experience and over 100 million in annual sales.
The Forklift technician will maintain and repair forklift equipment for a variety of clients. Technicians diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete preventative maintenance, repair brakes and suspension, and train junior technicians. This position is performed in a shop environment at the company location or a customer’s shop location. It cannot be performed remotely.
What you will do:
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair lifts.
- Forklift Maintenance (New/Used)
- Forklift Reconditioning
- Forklift Radiator repair.
- Battery and Charger maintenance
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lifts.
- Process paperwork after completion of all jobs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license.
- 1-5 years’ experience preferred.
- Good Mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics schematics.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer service skills
