Treasury Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and posting all cash receipts, auto payments, and clearing checks on a daily basis. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely reconciliation of transactions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post all cash receipts and apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
- Process auto payments and ensure correct allocation.
- Clear checks and reconcile bank transactions daily.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in cash applications.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all treasury activities.
- Assist with month-end close processes related to cash and bank reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in cash application workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in treasury, cash application, or accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of transactions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
