Manages and is responsible for the overall recruiting and hiring processes. Identifies, attracts, and hires top talent to meet the organization’s evolving needs. Collaborates with hiring managers to understand and anticipate staffing needs. Ensures the hiring process is seamless and efficient, with the best candidate ultimately selected to fill the role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to a job offer.
- Develop and maintain a talent pool of potential applicants using proactive sourcing strategies.
- Utilize job boards, social media, recruitment tools, and networking events to source qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation.
- Represent the company at job fairs or networking events.
- Track and share insight on market trends, compensation, and best hiring practices.
- Collaborate with managers to understand hiring needs, job requirements, team dynamics, and department goals.
- Review received resumes and conduct initial phone/video screenings to assess candidates.
- Coordinate and take part in interviews with candidates, department heads, and hiring panels.
- Ensure timely, positive, and professional communication with candidates at every stage of the recruitment process.
- Answer any questions from candidates and is their primary point of contact.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment progress and strategies.
- Negotiate offers, close candidates, and coordinate onboarding with Human Resources. Ensure new hires have a smooth transition by facilitating pre-boarding and handoff to HR.
- Track recruitments KPIs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, really, ZipRecruiter or similar recruiting tools.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP PHR are preferred but not required.
Work Conditions/Requirements
- This position may be remote, hybrid, or on-site, depending on business needs.
- Occasional travel may be required for job fairs or networking events.
