The Role: As a Dimensional Inspector, you will be the gatekeeper of quality. Your work ensures that every casting, machined part, fabrication, and weldment meets precise specifications. You’ll use state-of-the-art inspection tools (think Faro Arms, CMMs, and more) and your keen eye to protect the integrity of our products and reputation.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect parts with precision using mechanical and electronic measuring tools.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and non-destructive testing (Visual and Liquid Penetrant methods) to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
- Review blueprints and specifications to verify parts meet requirements.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to handle and transport parts safely.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure every inspection is thoroughly documented.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 2 years in dimensional inspection or related fields (industrial, machining, or mechanical).
- Education: High school diploma required; vocational training or associate degree in mechanical technology preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in using inspection tools, reading blueprints, and following detailed instructions. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, and focus on detailed tasks despite interruptions.
