JOB SUMMARY:
The parts cage coordinator will be responsible for receiving and shipping of parts to their corresponding department or facility. The coordinator will also assist the Parts Cage Supervisor by counting and creating orders and processing them in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Based on printed orders (Sales Order AND Delivery Order), pick required parts:
o Confirm the number of parts pulled matches the number requested. Acknowledge by circling number on Sales Order sheet
o Record as picked in MES
o Notate with initials and date, on Sales Order Sheet, that part has been picked on the system
o Attach orders to packages (heavy packages or totes can be used to secure orders)
o Place on shipping cart
- When requested by supervisor, expedite the picking and delivery of parts to shipping.
- When a cart is full:
o Verify orders are with each part
o Take cart to shipping
o If shipping has no place to put cart, consolidate inventory. Must return to parts cage with an empty cart
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma
- 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse environment is preferred

- Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Inventory, data entry and computer skills required
