As a firm with a strong focus on medical malpractice defense, we seek an attorney with prior experience in this area to help us continue providing top-tier legal representation. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
Position Overview
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in handling medical malpractice defense cases alongside experienced attorneys. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research and preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Attending depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Working closely with clients, medical experts, and other professionals to develop case strategies.
- Managing case files while ensuring compliance with deadlines and court procedures.
- Representing and advising clients in legal proceedings, negotiations, and settlements.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in medical malpractice litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
