Duration : 6 months
Location : Remote
The ideal candidate will assess our client's current Snowflake environment, provide strategic recommendations, and lead optimization efforts. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and upskilling a couple of our client's employees, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices.This is a senior-level position requiring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. The environment is fast-paced with no hand-holding; we need a self-starter who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess the existing Snowflake environment, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices for performance tuning, security, governance, and cost optimization .
- Provide strategic recommendations and a roadmap for enhancing Snowflake usage.
- Lead and mentor internal employees, offering guidance on data architecture, ELT processes, and advanced Snowflake features .
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure Snowflake solutions align with business needs.
- Work with Sigma BI to optimize dashboards and reports for better decision-making.
- Nice to have) Provide insights on potential MuleSoft integrations if relevant.
- Document architecture, processes, and recommendations for future reference.
