Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement comprehensive network infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Lead the architecture and design of LAN, WAN, and data center networks, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate new technologies and services.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of network hardware, software, and communication links.
Ensure network security by implementing best practices, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Provide strategic input for cloud networking, including hybrid cloud architectures.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and protocols.
Troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring optimal network uptime and reliability.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve the network architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 7 years of experience in network design, architecture, and implementation.
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.).
Experience with network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
Expertise in cloud networking, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proven experience in designing secure and scalable network environments.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and automation tools.
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
