The Vice President of Strategic Growth will be responsible for leading and driving growth initiatives across the organization. This executive will identify, develop, and execute strategies to expand the company’s presence in the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government sectors in the Washington, DC region. Responsibilities :
- Lead the strategic growth and business development efforts, focusing on DoD and other federal markets to increase revenue and market share.
- Spearhead revenue generation by achieving initial growth targets followed by sustained annual growth percentages.
- Develop and manage capture strategies for high-priority opportunities, including proposal strategies, solution development, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities within the DoD and federal government sectors and develop long-term strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers, partners, and key stakeholders across the defense industry.
- Oversee the development of proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs, competitive positioning, and compliance with government standards and requirements.
- Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with defense contractors, technology partners, and other relevant entities to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and through publications to elevate the company’s profile and thought leadership within the defense sector.
- Oversee strategically important contracts, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Proactively manage risks, oversee budget and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with all regulations and contract terms.
