Navajo, Inc is seeking a skilled Report Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Link, and both on-premises and cloud reporting solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization, data transformation, and enterprise reporting best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define reporting requirements.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory and Synapse Link for ETL processes and data integration.
- Implement and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for report development and deployment.
- Develop and maintain reports for both on-premises and cloud-based data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security best practices across reporting solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users, helping them interpret and leverage reports effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for reporting and business intelligence.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in report development, data visualization, or business intelligence.
- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and project management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Link for data integration.
- Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Experience working with both on-premises and cloud reporting environments.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other scripting languages for data processing.
- Experience with data governance and PowerBI best practices.
- Previous experience in logistics and/or manufacturing industries
- Previous demonstrable experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (SCM and Finance Modules specifically)
