Description
Job Summary:
Navajo Incorporated is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in daily manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting to help minimize downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support production team members to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Monitor workflow and adjust resources as needed to maximize efficiency.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent and resolve equipment issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for complex repairs and ensure proper machine functionality.
- Conduct quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production reports, equipment performance, and shift activities.
- Foster a team-oriented environment, promoting continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Working knowledge of production equipment and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
