What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary General Clerk position at Navajo Tribal Utility Authority?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
6 - 12 months Experience in customer service or office experience.
Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor vehicle record review).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Answers telephones, routes calls, takes messages, and provides general information; greets and directs visitors; answers routine inquiries; maintains log of inquiries as required.
Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to department staff.
Performs a variety of routine clerical assignments as appropriate to the position; operates a personal computer to draft basic correspondence, enter data, and print letters, labels, reports, and/or other materials.
Establishes, maintains, processes, and/or updates files, records, and/or other documents.
Copies and/or duplicates materials as requested; transmits and receives facsimiles.
Schedules or assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and/or conferences.
May order, stock, and distribute office supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
