Who We Are
New Beginnings Childcare Center (NBCC) cares for some of our community’s most vulnerable children, focusing on those with unique behavioral and emotional challenges.
Our staff is trained in the core principles of childhood traumatic stress and provided the necessary tools to best serve each child, ensuring staff is able to provide individualized care. Each month our team participates in a professional development day where we continue to build our knowledge to be the best providers we can be.

-This person must have basic knowledge of childcare needs, as well as how to provide a stimulating, fun, learning environment.
-Lastly, we are searching for candidates that are reliable, good-natured, and will meet our expected level of professionalism. This candidate will be a daily role model and person of support for our center’s children. While we need you to complete our team, it is the KIDS that need you most.
Minimum Qualifications
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must be able to pass a background check
Compensation
-Hourly wages are dependent on experience and qualifications
-Work schedules consist of a 5-day work week.

Responsibilities
-Ensuring the safety and appropriate behavior of program students ages 5-12
-Facilitating and teach daily STEAM learning activities
-Working with staff in planning and preparation of STEAM learning activities
-Teaching and mentoring students to help them grow their technical prowess and creativity
-Engaging students with games and other fun bonding activities when not working on wonderful projects
-Creating a safe and positive learning environment for all
-Fostering a growth mindset in every child
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
