Position Description
You will serve as a Aircraft Systems Leader in the Aviation Maint / Material Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- You will work on aircraft and has the expertise to provide technical advice and work direction to artisans.
- You will use hand tools, power driven drill motors, air grinders, air sanders, cutting tools, and floor shop equipment precisely without causing damage in the process.
- You will manufacture new skins, patches, reinforcements, doublers, brackets, panels, and other sheet metal parts for installation utilizing applicable structural fasteners.
- You will maintain critical tolerances on all installations and tranfers holes into new parts from existing patterns and templates.
- You will determine the induction configuration and establish which technical directives that must be accomplished to produce the required product configuration.
