Basic Requirements for the 2210 series:
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment (involves installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems to meet business requirements of customer); 2) Apply all applicable Information Assurance (IA) Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches to ensure systems availability , functionality, integrity and efficiency; 3) Research, evaluate and provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support requirements; 4) Develop local guidance and procedures for implementation of mandatory technical standards, working with functional managers to evaluate impact of proposed standards and procedure; 5) Develop and manage customer service performance requirements, consult with customers to identify and specify requirements. Successful completion of 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution
NOTE: The education listed above must be a degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or network

A 40-hour work week is typical.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Physical Demands
Work is primarily sedentary, although there may be some carrying of books, printouts, manuals, files and equipment.
