Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting public affairs policies and instructions; 2) Maintaining official websites, social media accounts, and/or content management systems for public affairs information dissemination; 3) Writing speeches, news articles, and/or briefs to disseminate information; and 4) Coordinating internal personnel and resources for participation in community relations events.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
