Duties

  • You will plan, prepare, and manage tasks and responsibilities for productivity and efficiency of management processes.
  • You will collect, analyze, and maintain data and metrics on midshipmen and officer candidates continuously across their four-year enrollment period.
  • You will identify, distribute, and balance workloads among team members in accordance with established priorities, skill level, and occupational specializations.
  • You will monitor midshipmen across their 4 years of academic education, required active-duty periods for training and periods of temporary or permanent disenrollment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge and skill in applying evaluative techniques and analysis for identifying program process issues and problems of procedural and factual nature. 2) Interpreting and applying regulations, procedures and/or precedents to provide advice and solve specific problems. 3) Ability to lead others by planning work, setting timelines, and adjusting priorities. 4) Proficient in applying analytical techniques to identify and resolve procedural issues and problems across multiple functions and/or commands. 5) Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner in order to provide information related to organizational, administrative and procedural matters.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
