Qualifications:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serves as project manager for multi-disciplinary teams consisting of contract specialists, engineers, technicians and Public Works Department maintenance staff to provide project management oversight; 2) Define and design proposed solutions to mechanical engineering related problems; 3) Plans, coordinates and carries out mechanical engineering investigations concerning service requests and special projects involving building water front structures; 4) Performs planning, programming and funding processes for projects to assure project evaluation is consistent with command policy; and 5) Conducts inspections of shore facilities to determine requirements for needed maintenance and repair.
