Responsibilities:
- Perform construction and demolition tasks
- Load and unload materials from vehicles to prepare work sites
- Perform general labor and other tasks as directed
- Inspect work sites for compliance with project scope and quality
- Report any concerns to supervisor
- Follow work site safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean work site
- Transport materials to designated sites
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Document as directed by supervisor for the safety of the company and site
- Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and regulations
Required Skills:
·Able to use hand tools, power tools, and general equipment needed to perform job functions
·Able to read construction plans written reports, or other documents from co-workers to identify types of material needed to complete the job
·Able to follow instructions given by supervisors or other employees as needed
·Able to keep records of jobsite activities so that information can be reported in a timely manner. (example: record taking video footage)
·Ability to use common equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. (on occasion)
·Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or other employees as needed. Follow oral and written instructions as given by the company. Be able to communicate in English in order to understand instructions given in English. Understand basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Be able to read drawings, schematics, etc.
