Job Description
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory Fuel Storage and Containers group at Naval Reactors Facility is seeking a Computer and Electrical Engineer.
This individual will support the management of shipping containers and their associated equipment and hardware by developing engineering controls (radiological, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene), work procedures and supporting documents.
Additional responsibilities include:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with PLC programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting is preferred.
Compensation And Benefits
$62,000.00 - $94,900.00 annually

- Interacts with Operations and Prime Contractor personnel to document and resolve equipment deficiencies.
- Provides engineering support as work is executed to ensure compliance with engineered work products, including any updates or changes needed for work execution procedures.
- Develops engineered drawings, sketches, containment design, ESH controls and lifting and handling diagrams to support unique and complex projects.
- Occasional backshift support will be required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
