Job Description
The Space Utilization and Document Support unit is seeking an Engineer of Radiological Work to join our Document Support Team!
The Document Support team serves the important role of researching historical information to answer questions and provide information to DOE-EM and their subcontractors as they begin to assume responsibility for some legacy facilities and associated D&D efforts at the Bettis Site. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in legacy facilities at Bettis with respect to the history of the facility usage and any D&D efforts. The candidate will work with Radiological Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, and RIO to fully understand the implication of the work performed in the facilities. The selected candidate will be expected to be able to take detailed documentation and summarize it into easy to understand information for non-Program personnel.
The selected candidate will be expected to earn or maintain their Engineer of Radiological Work qualification.
Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently or previously EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or SRE qualified.

$76,400.00 - $117,000.00 annually
