The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an entry-level Instrumentation and Control System Test Engineer. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and apply their skills to systems, software, and hardware development and testing real-time embedded systems.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
- Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science degrees are preferred
- Strong academic performance - GPA 3.2 or above
- Strong orientation toward technical thinking and problem solving
- Proficient with written and verbal communication
- Experience with system/software troubleshooting and debugging methods
- Experience or coursework in LabVIEW, C , Object Oriented design, Python, Agile Methods, or modern development tools

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
