As an Environmental Health Technician with the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in the field of nuclear science and technology. Your role will involve collaborating within the Reclamation and Remediation Operations (RRO) team to ensure all waste is generated and disposed of properly. You will also be tasked with ensuring the work team is briefed to understand the waste that will be created. Familiarity with various waste streams, packaging requirements, and accumulation areas are preferred. The EHT will be assigned to a team where safety is paramount, and the individual must be knowledgeable with those safety standards. The candidate will also be required to interpret written direction and be able to perform those tasks with first time quality.
