Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector through identifying modes of transportation, determining appropriate shipping methods, and advising customers on transportation issues. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Analyzing material dimensions and weight to determine specific handling, packing, loading, or type of carrier equipment required; 2) Performing cost analysis and market research to facilitate the purchase of supplies and materials; 3) Communicating with customers to obtain their shipment needs and services desired; 4) Preparing maintaining various files such as bills of lading, invoice and shipping documents, etc.; and 5) Utilizing automated systems to document records and data.
