Summary
You will serve as a Transportation Assistant in the Personal Property (PPO), Household Goods (HHG) program office of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-06 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an extensive body of transportation regulations, methods and practices to perform a wide variety of interrelated or nonstandard transportation support assignments and resolving a wide range of problems/issues related to the movement and storage of personal property. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Experience performing a wide range of personal property shipment management functions including household goods entitlements, personal property counseling, inbound and outbound shipment management, temporary storage and non-temporary storage; 2) Experience determining and advising on entitlement or procedures related to the type and quantity of personal property that can be moved at government expense, storage entitlements, mover's liabilities and prohibited items; and 3) Serve as point of contact resolving problems and ensuring that the work of Transportation Providers and/or contractors engaged in the physical handling and movement of household goods comply with applicable service tenders, solicitations, contract specifications and other government regulations.
