What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisory Program Coordinator position at Naval Systems Management Activity (NSMA)?
NSMA is seeking a GS-14 Supervisory Program Coordinator in Columbia, MD. This opportunity is open to the public.
DUTIES:
- You will translate guidance into concrete plans that can be supported from an operational and technical perspective, and develop processes to satisfy requirements from mission partners.
- You will work closely with leadership in the development/maintenance of long-term strategic planning efforts and supervise transition/transfer of DTI tools and capabilities to mission partners.
- You will oversee the organization Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations activity
- You will collaborate to build and maintain current and outyear financial plans and assess and recommend procedural and process improvements for organizational activities.
- You will directly supervise a civilian and military staff that serves as an interface and liaison to Combatant Command and Military Services.
- You will serve as an external liaison officer developing and maintaining long-term relationships at diverse levels with disparate elements of the DoD.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Serving as a senior authority and expert consultant on all issues associated with requirements and capability integration;
- Working assignments involving problem definition, planning, and coordination with numerous internal and external organizations;
- Directly and indirectly supervising division employees;
- Conducting daily liaison with representatives across the US Government as required for the purpose of planning and de-conflicting military compartmented activities; and
- Assisting in the formulation and implementation of engagement strategies.
