What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Engineer position at Naval Systems?
Description : NSI requires a Senior Software Engineer to support the F-35 JPO Program Office. The Software Engineer will work high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. Will oversee the efforts of less senior staff and / or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for an agile software development.
Responsibilities :
- Design, modification, development, and documentation for implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods.
- Write source codes for new applications, and / or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
- Utilize automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance.
- Acquire client requirements, resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
Location : Lexington Park, MD
Education : MS or MA degree preferred.
Experience : At least 10 years of relevant experience.
Skills :
Security Clearance : Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
