What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Treatment Coordinator position at Navarro Dental Group Corp?
We are looking for a dynamic Patient Treatment Coordinator to join our Navarro Dental Group! Our mission is to provide superior patient care and service to our patients. We pride ourselves in exceeding our patient's expectations. This position is primarily responsible for facilitating our new patient experience. We strive to give personalized service to each patient while building strong foundational relationships. Candidate needs to have at least 2-3 years of experience working at a dental practice and be familiar with General Dentistry terminology and treatment planning. We are looking for someone punctual, organized, detail-oriented with an outgoing personality who is very comfortable talking to patients and can connect with them. Prefer someone who has experience with financing options available at a dental practice! including but not limited to CareCredit, Cherry and Alphaeon
Responsibilities:
*Discussing Finances with Patients and offering payment options
* Knowledge of Insurance Benefits, how to obtain the information, and apply it to the treatment plan
*When needed verify the insurance
*Making appointments for patients after collecting payment
*On time for the daily morning huddle
*Help as needed in the office. Can not have a "this is not my job" attitude. Must be a team player to help coworkers and the office succeed.
*Educating and discussing treatment plans with the patient
*Presenting fees and estimates of treatment plans to the patient
*Tracking and following up on all incomplete treatment plans
*Monitoring treatment case plans and case acceptance
*Provide top-quality customer service
*Proactively work towards achieving high patient satisfaction
*Prior sales experience is preferred
Experience:
- Familiarity with Dentrix, dental records systems, or other similar software is a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology and administrative support in a healthcare setting is a must
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines is important
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
