Financial Analyst I

Job Summary and Qualifications:
Financial Analyst job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing routine and ad hoc financial analysis including analysis of costs, volume, or other
  key indicators.
• Managing assigned projects and maintaining a high level of performance analysis (from all
  aspects of data gathering, organizing, and presenting to management).
• Interfacing with various leadership regarding financial reporting and data needs and issues.
• Identifying opportunities for streamlining, capturing, and automating data gathering and
  reporting processes.
• Working with the the Leadership team to perform ongoing reviews to ensure achievement
  of key performance measures: Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reports and monitoring of trends for in
  managerial accounting / decision support projects.
• Responsible for having a detailed knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and
  systems, corporate policies and procedures, controls, and other finance program activities
• Assisting in ensuring that the hospital meets all necessary regulatory and compliance requirements and possible rotations through the business office
• Contributing financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additional
  sources of profitable revenue
• Participating in the hospital’s monthly operation reviews as well as participating in corporate
  office meetings as deemed necessary
• Performing other related job duties as required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Experience:
Past experience in the field or in a related area is preferred.
