What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst I position at Navarro Regional?
Job Summary and Qualifications:
Financial Analyst job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing routine and ad hoc financial analysis including analysis of costs, volume, or other
key indicators. - Managing assigned projects and maintaining a high level of performance analysis (from all
aspects of data gathering, organizing, and presenting to management). - Interfacing with various leadership regarding financial reporting and data needs and issues.
- Identifying opportunities for streamlining, capturing, and automating data gathering and
reporting processes. - Working with the the Leadership team to perform ongoing reviews to ensure achievement
of key performance measures: Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reports and monitoring of trends for in
managerial accounting / decision support projects. - Responsible for having a detailed knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and
systems, corporate policies and procedures, controls, and other finance program activities - Assisting in ensuring that the hospital meets all necessary regulatory and compliance requirements and possible rotations through the business office
- Contributing financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additional
sources of profitable revenue - Participating in the hospital’s monthly operation reviews as well as participating in corporate
office meetings as deemed necessary - Performing other related job duties as required.

mission and values.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Experience:
Past experience in the field or in a related area is preferred.
