IT Facilities Project Manager (3228)

Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for an IT Facilities Project Manager in West Milton, NY. This position offers up to 80% teleworking. This position requires an active DOE L clearance or DOD Secret clearance in order to be considered.

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated professional to support its Information Technology (IT) team. The IT Department is looking for a Project Manager who can lead multiple teams and projects associated with enterprise IT and facilities initiatives supporting the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). The successful candidate will work in a technically diverse and dynamic environment with a team of IT professionals responsible for partnering with our facilities teams to support the business.

Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Interface with both enterprise IT and facilities support groups to effectively and efficiently communicate and document user needs
• Establish project scope, schedules, work breakdown structure, planning assumptions, and evaluate requests for scope, budget, or schedule changes
• Establish and review project performance metrics and take appropriate actions to correct deviations
• Report and provide solutions for project issues affecting work evolutions
• Responsible for the development of periodic project assessments and communicating status with stakeholders and customers

• Experience with enterprise-level information technology including networking, desktop support, and cybersecurity
• Experience with, or knowledge of, facilities construction and engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong teaming and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Primavera P6 or similar project management software
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of relevant experience- project management experience required

OR

Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of relevant experience; project management experience required.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

NY Pay Transparency- $80-$140K (based on education and years of experience)
