We are seeking an experienced Navarro Research and Engineering Project Director to lead our team in project management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects, providing oversight to the Superintendent, and serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM). They will also be responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling costs and schedule performance for a project or subproject.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring work packages realistically represent the duration and budget necessary to perform work
- Performing variance analysis reviews, determining cause and effect of schedule or cost variance, and defining achievable corrective action plans
- Presenting project management performance plans, status updates, trends or issues to federal sponsors
To be successful in this role, you will require advanced experience managing construction projects, including proactively managing project scope, schedule, and budget. You will also need demonstrated experience identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and recommending risk acceptance/avoidance for all aspects of a project.
