Duties
- Provide direct support to clients facing crises, including emotional support and practical assistance.
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized action plans.
- Collaborate with community organizations, social services, and legal entities to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Facilitate access to resources such as childcare, behavioral health services, and child protective services.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Stay informed about relevant family law issues and child welfare policies to advocate effectively for clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in social work or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and child welfare systems.
- Experience working with children and families in various settings, including childcare or educational environments.
- Strong skills in conflict management and crisis management.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and resources available within the community.
- Ability to navigate complex family law matters as they pertain to client advocacy.
