SURVEY PROJECT MANAGER
Sparks, MD
The Survey Project Manager is responsible for the identification of business opportunities; define and plan projects accurately within the budget and scope guidelines; build project teams, coordinate and monitor work involved with the tasks; and assure the scope of work is carried out in accordance with terms of agreement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to prepare survey cost estimates
- Ability to meet schedules and budgets
- Knowledge of coordinate geometry programs
- Computation of traverse closures using Star
- Processing of raw field data
- Supervision of or preparation of topographic drawings and as-builts
- Deed, plat, and record research
- Preparation of property and right-of-way mosaics
- Computing property, right-of-way, and easement lines
- Preparing metes and bounds descriptions
- Supervision of, or development of base mapping files, plats, as-builts using both MicroStation and AutoCAD
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Navarro & Wright employs high definition laser scanning technology. The ability to work within this platform is preferred, but not necessary.
