Job Summary:
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) specializing in Oracle Database Management within a multi-cloud environment (AWS and Azure), you will be the trusted advisor and advocate for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful deployment, management, and optimization of Oracle databases across cloud infrastructures. With your deep expertise in database administration, Day 2 operations, migration methodologies, and cloud technologies, you will help clients navigate the complexities of multi-cloud environments, driving success through proactive support and strategic guidance.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, including experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as Technical Account Management, Customer Success, or Consulting.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of Oracle Database architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and Day 2 operations.
Expertise in database migration methodologies, including RMAN, Oracle Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
Proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, with experience in database migration, management, and Day 2 operations.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
Certifications:
Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Database Administrator) are a plus.
