Job Summary: Seeking responsible, reliable individuals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting the plumber in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing and maintaining plumbing systems, and providing excellent customer service. Plumbers helpers/apprentices will work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities: Assist plumbers in all areas of work including but not limited to the following:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and broken pipes
- Install and maintain plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and boilers
- Install rough plumbing for new construction and renovation projects
- Measure and cut pipes, drill holes, clear clogs
- Ensure proper tools and material are ready and available for each job
- Work as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- 3-5 years prior plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license and CLEAN RECORD; reliable transportation
- Possess and be proficient in the use of hand tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, responsible, and reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
