Purpose:
Responsible for maximizing the sales of Navico Group (NG) products through the implementation of NG sales programs, national and regional marketing strategies and coordination of NG customer service efforts in the field.
Summary:
Directly responsible for managing the business with assigned customers including development and implementation of sales plans, sales projections, product forecasts, budget management, customer and consumer service and day-to-day sales operations. In addition, the Sales Manager provides promotional sales support for NG promotional efforts including outdoor shows, dealer meetings, distributor shows, regional and national tournaments and retail account promotions.

Accountabilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Plans and executes a medium-term strategy for growing sales revenues and share of wallet from new and existing key partnerships in the assigned area.
- Develop a good understanding of our pricing framework and apply it appropriately to different customer profiles, ensuring fair and competitive pricing.
- Identify and evaluate potential partners and establishes long lasting professional working relationships within new and existing accounts in the designated area.
- Develops and maintains strong technical awareness of the use and application of products, as well as a strong understanding of our competitor’s product and their features and performance characteristics.
- Studies the market for new trends and feeds market information back to the Product Development team and recommends changes/improvements in products or provides input to new product development opportunities.
- Acts as first line of contact from partners and ensure the correct handling of orders by CS.
- Manages sales activities and maintains sales records and reports to management through existing CRM system monthly KPI reporting.
- Provides input into sales team meetings for an understanding of the market. Shares best practices and business results.
- Liaises with Technical Support for technical solutions and support in closing deal.
- Representing NG at the most relevant trade fairs for the sector and area of interest.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to contribute to decision-making that affects corporate strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree and or practical related experience in sales management is preferred.
- Sales experience with a technology product line is preferred.
- Computer skills in Microsoft office programs and CRM system experience / understanding
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
