What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Accountant with tax compliance expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting upper management in managing and ensuring compliance with various taxes, including income tax, sales tax, and other indirect taxes. The role will also involve collaborating with Big 4 firms to provide necessary tax information and support. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in general accounting principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and US tax regulations.
Responsibilities : General Accounting :
- Assist in preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports by conducting regular audits and reconciliations of accounts
- Assist in managing the general ledger and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Support the preparation of month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks and reports
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures

PayScale : $110,000 - $130,000 annually DOE and Annual Bonus Opportunity
