Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee operations, ensuring projects align with organizational goals and client expectations
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective strategies for project execution
- Analyze project and contract documents to ensure adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Champion safety programs and initiatives, ensuring all safety standards are met across all projects
- Manage capital expenditures, including justifying long-term investments and ensuring assets contribute to company growth
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
- Communicate project needs and challenges to senior management, including budgetary adjustments
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with contractors and key stakeholders
- Implement and oversee change management initiatives to support branch operations and organizational growth
Requirements:
- 5 years of leadership experience in the construction industry, preferably in civil construction, road construction, or striping
- Proven experience managing operations for $10M revenue projects
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to implement measurable safety improvements
- Demonstrated experience in managing capital expenditures and articulating business cases for investments
- Excellent people management and team-building skills, with a focus on change management
- Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement expertise preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings, field layout, and survey transfer
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required
