- Perform general accounting duties including journal entries, account reconciliations, billing, and inventory tracking.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting using QuickBooks.
- Analyze monthly financial statements and prepare internal reports including KPIs.
- Support project accounting and percentage-of-completion reporting for construction/service jobs.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for accounting and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field operations, management, and external partners.
- Handle business administration functions as needed, including audit support and compliance.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability in all financial documentation.
- Work onsite full-time, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of proven general accounting experience, preferably in construction or service trades.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and IF statements.
- Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion and project-based accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to commute daily to the on-site location (must be within 60 minutes one-way).
