- Lead the day-to-day service operations of the Dothan branch, managing technician productivity, dispatch, and department budgets.
- Partner with the Branch Manager and collaborate closely with the parts and sales teams to ensure a unified customer experience.
- Serve as the face of the service department, modeling exceptional customer interaction and driving satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure service metrics are met or exceeded, while maintaining strong operational efficiency and team morale.
- Provide leadership, support, and accountability to the team of seven technicians and related staff.
- Implement best practices in technician scheduling, safety, and service quality.
- Contribute to branch-wide performance meetings and work closely with regional leadership on strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing technicians in a machinery, heavy equipment, or related service environment.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and resolve challenges proactively.
- Experience with technician dispatch and service department KPIs.
- Strong communication, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
