Job Description

The Director of Quality will spearhead quality initiatives, ensuring seamless compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. This strategic role involves overseeing the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), fostering a culture of quality excellence, and managing key customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business objectives, guiding the Quality Systems team towards excellence.
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality inquiries, effectively manage audits, and resolve complaints through corrective actions.
• Quality Policy Implementation and Compliance: Establish and maintain quality policies, oversee internal and external audits, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Technical Support and Guidance: Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers on mechanical parts, driving collaboration and problem-solving.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing quality team, cultivating a dynamic work environment that promotes growth and innovation.
• Quality Metrics and Improvement Initiatives: Maintain accurate quality records, analyze key metrics, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (desired).
• At least 10 years of experience in quality management systems within distribution or manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience in managing a quality team.
• Expertise in customer audits, complaint resolution, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated mastery of strong quality management principles and practices.
