Position Overview: This role, under the Maintenance Manager's direction, involves overseeing the mechanical and electrical maintenance of equipment, machinery, and tooling to support production. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and updating PLC programs, ensuring machinery performance, conducting routine inspections, and maintaining spare parts inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct inspections, measure equipment performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize pneumatic and hydraulic tools
- Manage and lead support of preventative maintenance schedules
- Prepare technical reports and maintain repair records.
- Ensure safety compliance and adhere to best practices.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to other maintenance staff.
- Assist with environmental regulations and customer documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting with various PLC systems, HMI, Variable Frequency Drives, and Siemens PLCs.
- Expertise in programming PLCs (AB Logic, Siemens S7/TIA) and HMI systems.
- Experience with machine/plant networks, OPC UA, MES, and communication protocols.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution and extrusion processes.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
