The Sales Enablement Manager role is a vital to designing, developing, and delivering impactful enablement programs focused on onboarding, new sales, customer engagement, retention, and expansion. This role is pivotal in equipping the commercial team with the tools, resources, and training necessary to enhance their effectiveness, shorten ramp time, and consistently achieve or surpass company goals.
Your Responsibilities To The Team, Our Clients And Community
Commercial Team Training & Coaching
- Develop and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy that equips sales, operations, product, and marketing teams with the necessary tools, content, and training to drive revenue growth. Deliver engaging training through live workshops, virtual sessions, and on-demand resources
- Design and implement robust onboarding and ongoing training programs that enhance market, industry, and product knowledge while improving sales effectiveness and ensuring consistent positioning and messaging
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that sales materials and messaging are perfectly aligned with Navigate’s mission and value proposition
- Establish standardized practices for consultative selling, account-based selling, and competitive positioning to empower sales teams with proven strategies
- Offer actionable insights and feedback to refine prospect and client interactions, helping sales representatives and account managers convert opportunities and build stronger client relationships
- Track the success of enablement initiatives by monitoring key metrics such as training completion rates, ramp-up times, and improvements in client engagement
- Maintain a well-organized repository of all enablement content, including playbooks, training materials, product guides, marketing resources, and presentations, ensuring materials are current, accessible, and relevant
- Collaborate with marketing to develop various sales materials like presentations, demos, case studies, and one-pagers tailored to different sales stages and customer segments
- Train and support sales and operations team members to customize content delivery based on customer needs and situations
- Provide ongoing training to the commercial team on how to effectively utilize the available content and incorporate into their engagement and sales process
- Act as a key liaison between sales, operations, product, and marketing to align enablement priorities and ensure consistent messaging
- Partner with product marketing to ensure alignment on go-to-market messaging, new product launches, and value propositions
- Engage with account management teams to capture the best practices and customer insights to inform enablement materials
- Attend team meetings to learn and support ongoing needs
- Proven track record managing enablement platforms like HighSpot or Seismic, driving initiatives that streamline content delivery and training processes
- Exceptional project management and training skills, with a strong focus on crafting compelling narratives and enhancing client presentations through effective storytelling
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels, fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve sales objectives
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and convert insights into actionable strategies that propel sales growth and operational excellence
- Prior experience at an employee wellbeing company or one offering related benefits
- Expertise in leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance enablement strategies
- Demonstrated ability to tackle significant, ambiguous challenges
- Background in up-market enablement, supporting sales teams as they enter new markets
Experience & Education needed for success in this role
- 5 years of experience in sales, commercial enablement, or client success roles within employee wellbeing, benefits, or B2B SaaS environments selling to HR and Benefits leaders, with deep knowledge of B2B sales cycles, methodologies, and value selling frameworks
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% of work year
- Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
- Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards
